HOW TO ENTER:

To be eligible to receive a promotional scratch card, simply purchase a 700ml bottle of Crown Lager or any 750ml bottle of Red Label, Yellow Label or Gold Label wine from the Wolf Blass range from a participating venue during the promotional period. Scratch the panel on the promotional scratch card to reveal if you are a winner of an instant prize.

To claim an instant prize, fully complete the reverse side of your winning promotional scratch card, attach the original product purchase receipt (which clearly specifies the product purchased), enclose your winning promotional scratch card and original product purchase receipt in an envelope and send to: ‘Chinese New Year Promotion – Instant Win‘, PO Box 276, Brookvale NSW 2100, so that it is received by 11:59pm AEDST on 28/02/06. Instant win claims will automatically be entered into the Major Prize Draw (and the draw for any unclaimed instant win prizes).

Instant prize winners must retain a photocopy of their winning scratch card for verification purposes. The Promoter also recommends that winning scratch cards be sent via registered post; however, this is not a condition of claiming a prize and the cost to do so will be the claimants responsibility.

To enter the Major Prize Draw (and the draw for any unclaimed instant win prizes), fully complete the reverse side of your non-winning promotional scratch card, attach the original product purchase receipt (which clearly specifies the product purchased), enclose your promotional scratch card and original product purchase receipt in an envelope and send your entry to: ‘Chinese New Year Promotion – Major Prize Draw’, PO Box 398, Brookvale NSW 2100, so that your entry is received by 11:59pm AEDST on 28/02/06.

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating venues and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.

3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.

4. Multiple entries accepted but each entry must be associated with a separate validating purchase. Multiple claims accepted, but each claim requires a separate original winning promotional scratch card AND a separate original product purchase receipt which clearly specifies the product purchased. Each entry/claim must be posted in a separate envelope. Limit of 5 instant win scratch cards per ACT resident per day.

5. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries/instant win prize claims.

6. Promotion commences 16/01/06. Instant win claims and major prize draw entries close 11:59pm AEDST on 28/02/06. The Major Prize Draw will take place at 1/3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100 on 07/03/06 at 10:00am. Winners will be notified by mail and the name of the Major Prize winner will be published in The Australian on 14/03/06. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Instant win prizes to be won are as follows: 138 x $88.00 cash.

8. Major Prize: The first valid entry drawn in the Major Prize Draw from all entries received, including winners of an instant prize, will win $8,888 cash.

9. All cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque.

10. Total prize value is $21,032.

11. The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same place as the major draw as are necessary on 23/06/06 at 10am in order to distribute the Major Prize and/or any instant win prizes, as the case may be, if unclaimed by that date, subject however to any written directions given under Reg 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA). In the event of a Major Prize winner in the unclaimed prize draw, their names will be published in The Australian on 05/07/06.

12. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these conditions of entry, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Instant win scratch card materials void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way. There will be a total of 190,000 instant win promotional scratch cards printed for this promotion.

13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

15. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

16. Beringer Blass Wine Estates Limited trading as Fosters Australia is collecting this information for the purpose of supplying or promoting its goods or services. Generally, we only disclose this information to organisations who help us supply or promote our goods or services and to companies within the Corporate Group. 17. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

18. Beringer Blass Wine Estates Limited trading as Fosters Australia encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are:

• Males: Up to 6 standard drinks on any one day, no more than three days a week.
• Females: Up to 4 standard drinks on any one day, no more than three days a week.
