Accomplished Test cricketer and Wolf Blass Ambassador, Stuart MacGill, will be taking a “drinks break” with a difference on Thursday 7 December joining some of Melbourne’s favourite personalities in an evening of wine and cricket at the Wolf Blass and The Cage’s “Wine and Wickets Cup”.
Stuart MacGill will lead a team of ten players, including Melbourne Football Club captain David Neitz, Olympic Gold medalist rower Nick Green and five Triple M listeners, in a cricket challenge against the station’s breakfast program, The Cage.
Former First Class cricketer and Channel 9 sports personality, James Brayshaw will lead The Cage team of Brigitte Duclos, Matt Parkinson, Peter Berner and Mike Fitzpatrick. 11:34 AM 27/11/2006
Joining the Cagers will be basketball legend Andrew Gaze, athlete Tamsyn Lewis and Ed Kavalee from Triple M’s “Get This” and TV’s “Thank God You’re Here”.
This relaxed evening will have a picnic atmosphere and feature Wolf Blass wine tastings for the public, a free BBQ, and opportunities to win one of five double passes to the 3 Mobile Ashes Series Boxing Day Test.
